Nick Bodis lives in Southeast Michigan and vacations "as much as possible at Gulliver Lake" in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Nick paints primarily landscapes, gardens, still lifes and florals. Inspiration for many of his pastel paintings comes from the beauty of Michigan's northen woods and Upper Peninsula (UP). Michigan's forests, meadows, gardens, streams, lakes, sand dunes and endless quiet areas offer innumerable subjects to paint. Nick is member of the Great Lakes Pastel Society, the Livonia Artists Club, and the Visual Arts Association of Livonia (VAAL).
